How much will it cost to remove my tattoo?
Tattoo removal costs are determined by the size of the tattoo and the number of treatments required. During your initial free consultation, we will measure your tattoo and calculate your price per treatment based on the amount of ink being removed. Prices start at $150 for up to the size of a standard business card and get cheaper per square centimetre as the size of the tattoo increases.
Exceptions to this pricing may apply for very small tattoos such as tear drops or a few ink dots, which can be treated for $100 per treatment. There are no extra charges for multiple colour tattoos and once a price per treatment has been determined, it is capped at that price for the entire course of your treatments (excluding any GST increases).
In the event that you elect to have a topical anaesthetic applied prior to your treatment, you will incur an additional charge on top of your quoted treatment price. Topical anaesthetic charges start at $30 and are dependent on the size of the area being treated.
The number of treatments required varies from tattoo to tattoo and is dependent on many variables. Please refer to our FAQ page for a detailed explanation of these factors. In our experience, amateur tattoos generally require between 1 and 3 treatments, whilst professional tattoos can often require between 5 and 10 treatments. During your initial consultation, we will assess your tattoo based on your specific characteristics and will determine the maximum number of treatments likely to be required to achieve your desired result. If you then complete that maximum number of treatments and your tattoo ink is still visible, we will provide free additional laser tattoo removal treatments for a period of up to one year following your last paid treatment.

We offer discounts to clients having multiple tattoos treated, based on the cumulative area of ink and as determined at your initial free consultation. We also offer a 15% discount to clients wishing to pay for three or more treatments in advance.
At Vanishing Ink, we appreciate any customer referrals that you may make during the course of your treatment and will discount your remaining treatment prices by 10% for any referred clients that successfully commence treatments.

Do you sell gift vouchers?
Yes. Gift vouchers are very popular around Christmas and birthdays and can be purchased at any time of the year. Gift vouchers can be purchased for any amount over $50 and can be delivered via email or post or can be picked up in the clinic. They can be paid for over the counter in the clinic or over the phone via credit card or bank transfer. We are happy to assist you in determining an amount that may be relevant for your nominated recipient.

Do your prices include GST?
We are obliged by law to add GST to all our laser tattoo removal procedures. However, this 10% charge has already been included in our fee structure and will be clearly itemised on your printed invoice.
How can I pay for my tattoo removal treatments?
Payments can be made via cash, Eftpos, Bank Transfer, Visa, MasterCard, Amex or Zip Pay. We do not accept cheques.
